For some inexplicable reason, [livejournal.com profile] australian_joe did not think that I would have screwdrivers or various screws available.

I suspect this has much to do with the fact that screwing in screws is _very_ wrist intensive, and my wrists are _maybe_ ok with that again now. But still.

Actually, between the two of us, [livejournal.com profile] jasra and I both have a set of screwdrivers, plus my power one. And at least two hammers. (and [livejournal.com profile] jasra has a bunch of other things that I cannot recall offhand)

(ok, apparently he was surprised that I had various shapes/sizes of loose screws. Not that I have screwdrivers. I'm somewhat less offended now. ;)

[edit: ok, no, I didn't actually notice the... interesting meanings of this subject line. :P]

Now... _what_ would the 'loose' part imply? toys?

I agree perhaps I said "screwdrivers" as well, but really I was just thinking of "collection of assorted spare screws", and my brain must have appended "screwdrivers".

In fact I *would* expect you to have screwdrivers, hammers, etc. I think of those as a very basic level one set of gear. I had those for years before I acquired a good set of miscellaneous screws and nails. 8-)

What were you trying to screw?

In the office, the curtains on one of the windows were held very loosely via a nail. The curtail holder could come off the nail, and the nail could come out of its hole.

It really wanted a good screwing. [nod nod]

The *multiple* interesting meanings of the title. But no, I don't think you have a screw loose, really! :-}
