Update from the roommate

[This is [livejournal.com profile] jasra typing on behalf of [livejournal.com profile] wispfox.]

For lo, I have fallen prey to tendonitis. This frustrates the hell out of me because I _can't do anything_! Also, I have not been online since Monday, and will not be until my hands have been painfree for a couple of days. So, if you have my number [Editor's note: and you want to entertain her for a little while!], call me. [Ed: If you want to contact her but not call, you can email jasra @ LJ and I will relay for you.] (But don't write crazy amounts so we are nice to my roommate.)

I am very frustrated, not in the least because this is the result of things I did to myself, so I would prefer to avoid expressions of sympathy. Also, I'm not going to get any comments until I get back online!

Am definitely seeing improvement; however, as I knew it would be, it is very slow. I am not at work again until at least May first.

It seems reasonably mild, probably because I caught it fairly early. Something about being paranoid because I know too many people who have it! ;)

Mostly, I am annoyed because I can not read (except for magazines because they lay flat)! (or get online, but well, duh!) Also, I am watching ridiculous amounts of tv and movies because I can't do anything else, and oh-my-god I am bored! But at least it's nice out (for walking).

I am basically not driving - unless I have to - because it hurts to do so.

Also, I didn't really expect this post to be quite so... pertinent when I first read it!

I'm not intending to catch up on LJ when I get back online. If there is anything that you particularly feel strongly about me reading, either comment or send me email. I'll get to it when I get back online. (Eventually - I want to be very careful when I get back to typing.)

La.

This RSI ickyness is brought to you by Palm Treo 650 (well, from the hard to push buttons and overusing the online services bits), along with more than usual amounts of writing/notetaking, and being sick and gaming for _many_ hours.
